Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? In this case, it grows in 5 hand painted leather marigolds nestled sweetly on the front of our Amelia bag in a supple ivory calf leather. This bag is lined in forest green pigsuede that repeats in the hand stitching. Yellow suede flowers painted in various marigold types are layered like the flowers many layers of petals. An ivory seed bead adorns the center of the flower and leaves float behind. This bag is has an antique brass finished chain that measures approximately 36” and can easily be doubled over to create a shorter chain. The bag itself measures 10” across x 7” tall x 3” deep. The back of the bag has a large patch pocket perfect for sliding in your cell phone. This bag was inspired by The Blazing fires of Autumn and the Marigold garlands of Dia de los Muertos, but moslty in the quest to make a birth flower bag for every month out of the year.
