Bouquiniste (n.) a seller of used books, The Bouquinistes of Paris, France, are booksellers of used and antiquarian books and rare vintage postcards who ply their trade along large sections of the banks of the Seine.

Inspired by all your adventures, in the city of light or elsewhere, the Bouquiniste Tote is sure to hang loyally at your side. With its generous 5” wide gussets is will be sure to hold the books (and other ephemera) that you find along the way. The Bouquiniste Tote has an inner patch pocket as well as an outer front pocket to hold your smaller belongings. Tuck a small clutch or small handbag inside an still have room for your baguette and a posy from the flower stall. Each bag comes with removable bag charms in either flowers, butterflies, or ginkgo leaves. They are also equipped with a complimentary matching bookmark to help you keep your place when you put your book down for another stroll through the market.

This Bouquiniste Tote is made out of a semi-firm, yet oh-so-soft suede that will get softer with use. Peony Pink remeniscent of the fresh flower stalls, the magnolias, and cherry blossoms.

At Beargrass Leather atelier we have taken precautions to wash the excess dye from the leather before giving it multiple coatings of water and stain repellent/protector. Please take care not to wear with white shirts or your lightly colored clothing (i.e. your favorite linen blouse) for extented periods of time as some transfer may occur.
